I love my nasal irrigator but hate the cost of the pods. It's easy to mix your own saline with distilled water and salt at whatever concentration you like. I personally like to add Alkalol as well.

To use this insert, just drop it in. As you close the lid, get it as far closed as you can while still reaching in your finger and “snap” the interior lid dimple in until it clicks.

Edit: User AHOLUB below has posted a more clear pic and description of what you need to do to make this work correctly, close the lid about ¾ of the way and reach your finger in and poke the dimple in the lid. It'll click and the unit will work when it closes. I stole his pic and added it to the description.

Some folks are reporting they need to print it smaller, it takes like 3 minutes so experiment and let me know what you find!

Use as normal.

One last pro-tip, buy your unit from the company on eBay! They send you extra pods and the units are half-priced.
