this is a simple multistable compliant mechanism.Â
It is stable in five positions so I guess you could call it a pentastable compliant mechanism?
It could be used, for example, to position an object precisely and reliably.
It's still in a very early stage as you can see but it already works. Updated versions will follow soon.
