ALEX ‘ÅRRANGÖR’
IKEA ALEX ÅRRANGÖR
ÅRRANGÖR is a Base+Box system which complements the IKEA ALEX drawers, and expands the storage option of any home office.
Base System
The ÅRRANGÖR base system is a 6x8 grid designed to fit inside an IKEA ALEX drawer set. The Base consists of a raised grid that complements the shape of each stackable unit, making a perfect interlocking system to hold your parts securely in place.
Each square in the grid corresponds to a square on the base of each Stackable Unit which pair up together to form the perfect match, like Prusament and the MK3s.
ALEX Compatibility
The IKEA ALEX range has two sizes of drawers, one short (102mm x 323mm) and one tall (147mm x 323mm). The ÅRRANGÖR system comes in 7 sizes, designed to fit both size drawers. The system is designed so that when stacked, the heights are compatible with other sizes. (e.g. 3x 20mm units will be the same height as 1x 50mm unit)

Stackable Units
The ÅRRANGÖR system stacks beautifully – and comes in stepped sizes of ~15mm increments. The boxes are designed to stack such that multiple units will share the same equivalent height; for example, 3 x 20mm (1U) boxes, will share the same height as 1x50mm (3U) units. Any combination can be true if the total Unit height matches across each stack of units.
Print Settings
Base:
Printed using the default “0.3mm Draft” settings on a Prusa MK3S, or “0.25mm Draft” setting on a Prusa Mini.
Print either 4x the “3x4_MK3s” files, or 6x “3x3_MINI” files, to fit in your ALEX Drawer
Stackable Units:
Select your desired combination of box dimensions + heights and print with the following settings:
Printed using the default “0.2mm Quality” settings, with “Detect Bridging Perimeters” turned on.
Print with “Seam Position” set to Rear
