A dead-simple way to carry a rifle in a truck, SUV, or side-by-side. Hook the small end around your headrest post, drop the barrel into the large end. Tension holds it. No drilling, no adhesives, no hardware, no straps.

Which file do I need?
Sporter barrel and bull barrel versions of each version.
Standard version is one solid piece
"Swivel" versions have a print-in-place link to allow the hook to adjust to the angle of the barrel
"Multi-linked" versions have 4 intermediate print-in-place links to allow more conformity.
"38mm suppressor"Â a multi-linked version specifically created for a request. Yeah, it fits 38mm diameter suppressors.
These print-in-place links are solid and reliable even under extended use in extreme New Mexico summer time heat when printed in PETG and PCTG.

Material: PETG, PCTG, Nylons, ABS, or ASA. Not PLA — a closed vehicle in summer gets hot enough to soften it and drop your rifle.
Walls: 10+ perimeters, 15% infill. This isn't overkill.

Orientation: as loaded - flat on bed.
Print time: ~1 hr 46 min, ~38 g
What this is and isn't
This is a retention hook — it keeps a rifle from sliding around while you drive. It is not a locking mount and not a security device. Check your state or province's rules on transporting firearms in a vehicle before you use it.
